PEN PAL QUESTIONS:

How long have you been penpaling? About 22 years; swapping heavily for like 14 years or more.

How many penpals do you have? Not sure; quite a few.

How many do you want? Depends on who I hear from.

How long are your letters? Extremely.

Do you type or handwrite? Depends on what's going on/how my health is.

Do you like sending gifts with your letters? I swap by box, etc.

Usually, how long does it take for you to reply to a letter? Depends on what's going on and where I am.

What age would you like your penpal to be? Doesn't matter.

Would you like them to be male or female? Female or gay/bi males preferably!

What are you looking for in a pen pal? I have to feel a connection with you to continue to write to you. I'm looking for lasting friendship, not just 'penpals'.
I don't want to hear from:
--Anyone who doesn't have a decent mastery of the English language (I need to be able to understand what you're writing). That doesn't mean I won't write to people of other cultures/doesn't have English as a first language.
--Anyone who's living in a fantasy world. (I seem to get all the crazies, I swear.)
--Anyone who doesn't feel that they can relate to me based on anything I've written about myself here.
--Homophobes and racists definitely need not apply.
--Anyone that doesn't understand or is afraid of/negative toward Paganism or my being interested in & open-minded to other alternative religions, including LaVeyan Satanism (which is actually a philosophy by the way, not a 'religion' per se).
--Anyone who makes a lot of assumptions and feels they can insult me but will have a fit if I tell them they don't have a clue what they're talking about...I've been getting swamped with intros lately and letters from people who claim to be 'open-minded' at first and then ask extremely ignorant and insulting questions or make insane assumptions about me/how I live/what I believe in/what I do...It gets old really fast. I'm basically just a person who enjoys living life to its fullest and is interested in a wide variety of things.
--Anyone that desires to 'convert' me to anything. :-P And I have absolutely no desire to 'convert' you either.
--Anyone who has a problem with me needing to type sometimes. My letters tend to be extremely long and I have certain medical issues that keep me from being able to handwrite them at times. Typewritten letters aren't meant to be an 'insult' or anything negative. :-P
--Speaking of negativity--Anyone who tends to be predominantly negative, I don't need any downers.

Sorry, it makes me look biotchy to list so many "I don't want to hear froms", but you wouldn't believe what I've had to put up with lately. I figure I'd better get these things out in the open first and then you can get to know me and see that I'm really not that scary or unfriendly. :-P
